A new year with some new releases… Just not too many this week. The coming weeks will be quite busy with releases, but this week sees Dark Void, Pinball Hall of Fame: The Gottlieb Collection for Wii and the PS2 port of Silent Hill: Shattered Memories. When I have to put a couple of budget PC releases of game shows just to fill the widget you know you have a slow week. The demo for Dark Void is available to download now, but I have yet to try it.

The Upcoming Releases page has been updated again after a few weeks off. This week sees the release of both Band Hero and LEGO Rock Band which are the more “family friendly” versions of the respective franchises. Since LEGO Rock Band has “The Final Countdown” by Europe it automatically wins in my mind. If music games aren’t your thing (or you don’t want to buy ANOTHER one after 10 have come out this year alone) there is also Dragon Age: Origins which looks pretty sweet for fans of Baldurs Gate, the Ultimate Sith Edition of Star Wars: The Force Unleashed for those looking for new content that is released as a full game instead of DLC, Pro Evolution Soccer 2010, and Rabbids Go Home for Wii which is more of an adventure game than the mini-game collections they have been known for until now. There are others as well so take a look at the page.
Now that I have a review up for Dr. Mario Online RX (WiiWare) I have updated my Dr. Mario Express review a bit. Click here to see my updated Dr. Mario Express review.
I know this may be shocking to those reading this, but Dr. Mario Online RX is Dr. Mario…. Online. It’s a WiiWare downloadable title, but what does it include and is it worth it?
Leaderboard Page Now Added

It’s been talked about and now it’s finally here: I have added a page for Leaderboards of games that do not have online leaderboards. Feel free to check it out and let me know what you think. Leave comments and contribute your scores and games. It’s not much now so I need YOU to help it grow. It will be a permanent link up at the top of the page like my Upcoming Releases.
Right now I just have Bird & Beans, I MAED A GAM3 W1TH Z0MB1ES 1N 1T!!1 and Streets of Fury.
Dr. Mario Express is one of many "Express" versions of games on DSiWare (which many can think of as "lite" if that makes it easier). Many have played this many times before, so is this latest version worth getting?

I do have a DSi, and I’ve downloaded a few DSiWare games, but not quite sure where to start. Does anyone even care about them? If people care, what would they like to see reviews of first? Read the rest of this entry »
