Coming Next Week: Review for Physics Lab (XBLI)

I know this sounds weird to post what I’m going to post instead of just posting it, but the nice guys at 2.0 Studios were nice enough to give me a free copy of their latest Xbox Live Indie Game “Phsyics Lab.”  Check out their site, check out the game, and I’ll let you know my thoughts after putting more time into it.  There is a lot you can do with this game and it’s pretty involved so after spending some time I realize I need to spend more to really get a grip on it :)

Upcoming Releases for the Week of January 18th

A new year with some new releases… Just not too many this week.  The coming weeks will be quite busy with releases, but this week sees Dark Void, Pinball Hall of Fame: The Gottlieb Collection for Wii and the PS2 port of Silent Hill: Shattered Memories.  When I have to put a couple of budget PC releases of game shows just to fill the widget you know you have a slow week.  The demo for Dark Void is available to download now, but I have yet to try it.

Demo Impressions – Xbox 360 and PS3 Review: Fairytale Fights

Fairytale Fights I know that the full game of Fairytale Fights is out, but the demo is a perfect example on how NOT to make a demo.  They pretty much knew they had a crap game so made an even crappier demo that told people, “Do not buy our game.”

PSP Mini Review: Fieldrunners

Fieldrunners cover It is no secret that I like Tower Defense games.  I have reviewed a few already and I’m usually pretty positive about them.  I know that they aren’t for everyone and I know a lot of people are sick of them since they are oversaturated.  If you are one of those people, you can probably just skip this review.  I played it on my PSP and my PS3 with the new PSP Mini emulation.  For those interested in just hearing about the PS3 playing you can scroll down to just above the score to read about that.
