Playstation Store Update

Despite the promise of the same games that came to XBLA this week and a Crash Commando add-on, the Playstation Store still has not been updated for this week. Anyone else having this issue?
UPDATE @11:24 AM: Sony’s latest Twitter update (from about 14 hours ago, doh!) said that they are experiencing some delays with getting the update and to keep an eye on their Twitter feed as well as the Playstation Blog for when it updates.
UPDATE @3:05 PM: Looks like it’s finally up. Has been for a couple hours now, but looks like other than the Crash Commando stuff that it wasn’t much of an update. Looks like the Summer of great games is officially over. Actually, I take that back, Fate/Unlimited Codes is coming next week, and that looks sweet.
This week’s Forgotten Friday deals with a PS2 game that many people passed over, and they passed over a great experience. Do you enjoy Yakuza movies? Did you enjoy Shenmue but felt that it needed more focus, especially when it came to combat? If you answered yes to either one of these, Yakuza is a game for you.
PSN Review: Fat Princess

What do you get when you mix Gauntlet, Battlefield, and Capture the Flag? Well, Fat Princess of course. This is the newest game released on the Playstation Network (PSN) on the Playstation 3 and for $14.99 you will lose hours of your life… and that may just be one game.
As some of you may or may not know, the Sony Playstation 3 Slim model is now available for $299.99. They said it would come out September 1st, but a lot of retailers got them available for sale yesterday (Tuesday) and it seems that they have immediately sold out.

Site Update 8-24-2009

Just giving a quick update for everyone about my blog. I will be spending the next few days cleaning things up in my older posts so that they fit more uniformly with the newer posts. This includes the formatting, adding screen shots, adding ratings, etc. I have my HDMI capture card ordered up and it should be in in a couple days so once i get that up and running I can get my own screen shots and video up here. I also will be getting rid of some older articles that are now irrelevant or pointless. Trimming the fat so to speak. In the meantime I will still do 1 review a day and will focus all the rest of my time getting everything ready.
But again, this site is for YOU the readers, so if there’s anything you want more/less of, and comments or suggestions, feel free to leave comments. I’m getting more and more now, which is awesome, and it’s those comments that are helping shape this blog into what it is becoming.
Screen Shots Added to Site

Just wanted to let everyone know that I’ve been working on adding screen shots to my reviews. Right now they are just temporary shots I borrowed from GameFaqs, but I ordered up a new HDMI capture card so I can start making my own and will be adding them to all reviews from then on. I don’t have all reviews “fixed” yet, but working on it. I’m also working on going back to reviews and adding the new star system. So, what does everyone think so far? Should the pics be bigger/smaller/fewer/more? Leave a comment and let me know.
